See our installation guide →The Champion 26kW is the largest model in HomeSafe's Champion lineup — a complete whole-house standby system built around Champion's newer fleX programmable controller, for DFW homes with bigger HVAC loads or more appliances than the 14kW or 22kW models are sized to cover.
At the heart of the system is the fleX controller, which gives you direct control over how backup power is used. Through optional load management modules, HomeSafe can assign appliance priority levels (1 through 4), manage large electric loads, or lock out select circuits while running on standby power — useful for getting more usable capacity out of the generator instead of oversizing the unit.
The 999cc V-Twin engine delivers up to 26kW on propane and 23.4kW on natural gas — strong capacity for larger DFW homes. Power Line Carrier technology lets the generator and transfer switch communicate over your home's existing wiring, which keeps installation simpler and less expensive than running dedicated control wiring. A corrosion-resistant all-aluminum enclosure provides long-lasting, weatherproof protection, and the 24V starting system operates reliably down to -22°F.
