and surrounding Collin County
We work across Collin County regularly — Allen, Plano, and the surrounding communities are part of our active service area. We understand the local Oncor infrastructure, city permit process, and the Allen neighborhood profile.
Our licensed master electrician and Generac PowerPro Premier dealer status means every installation is backed by factory credentials and a fully qualified team. Installations are backed by factory warranties and performed to code.
One company accountable from first call to final walkthrough. The same crew that visits your home for the assessment pulls the permits, installs the generator, and services it annually.
Allen's housing stock is a mix of established 2000s-era homes and newer construction, most falling in the 2,200–4,000 sq. ft. range with 200-amp panels as standard. That profile aligns well with the 20–32kW whole-home tier — enough to run everything in the house simultaneously without oversizing the system.
America's #1 generator brand. Generac's 22kW and 24kW air-cooled units are a practical fit for the typical Allen home in the 2,500–3,500 sq. ft. range. Larger Allen homes step up to the 26kW or liquid-cooled Guardian series without issue.

Annual tune-ups, priority emergency repair, and full warranty service. We're in Allen regularly — you'll never wait long for a technician who knows your system.
Most Allen homes fall in the 2,200–4,000 sq. ft. range, placing the majority of properties solidly in the whole-home tier. Newer Allen construction tends to come with modern 200-amp panels and higher standard loads — smart home systems, tankless water heaters, EV chargers — which should all factor into sizing.
Best for homes under 2,000 sq. ft. Covers HVAC, refrigerator, lights, and essential outlets.
Best for 2,000–4,000 sq. ft. homes. Runs everything simultaneously — full HVAC, kitchen, security, EV charger.
Best for homes over 4,000 sq. ft., estates with multiple HVAC zones, home offices, or light commercial spaces.

Annual professional service is the standard recommended by Generac, Kohler, and Champion — every 12 months or every 200 hours of runtime, whichever comes first. In DFW, we advise scheduling in spring before peak summer heat. If your generator ran extensively during a multi-day outage, schedule a post-outage inspection regardless of timing — extended runtime accelerates wear on oil, filters, and spark plugs.
First, check the circuit breaker on your main electrical panel and confirm the unit has a fuel supply. Ensure the control switch is not set to "off." Check the control panel display for any alarm or error codes. If the unit shows a code you cannot identify, call us at (817) 439-9009 — describing what you see on the panel helps us diagnose remotely before we arrive.
Yes. We service Generac, Kohler, and Champion generators across DFW and North Texas regardless of who installed them. Bring your service history if you have it — if you do not, we start with a diagnostic inspection and give you a clear picture of the unit's condition before recommending any work.
No — service by a certified technician protects your warranty, it does not threaten it. Our technicians are factory-certified for all three brands. What can void your warranty: non-certified work, non-approved parts, or skipping scheduled service entirely. Annual certified service is one of the clearest ways to keep your warranty valid and enforceable.
A standard annual tune-up takes 1.5 to 2 hours for most residential units. A diagnostic visit for a reported fault takes 1 to 3 hours depending on what we find. We give you a specific time window when you book — not an open-ended all-day appointment. If a repair requires parts we do not have on the truck, we will tell you same-day and schedule the follow-up promptly.
Yes. HomeSafe services backup generators for restaurants, medical offices, retail properties, and small businesses across Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Allen, Coppell, and the wider DFW metroplex. Commercial units often run more frequently and may require shorter service intervals depending on runtime and load history. Call us at (817) 439-9009 to discuss a service schedule.
