HomeSafe Generators and Electrical was founded by Nick Bieghler in 2021 in Fort Worth, TX. But generators have been a part of Nick's life for as long as he can remember. Nick's father owned and operated a generator and electrical company in Iowa that he started in 1982, a year before Nick was born. So Nick was introduced to the generator world at a very young age, spending his childhood running around the shop, counting inventory, riding along on service calls, and learning generators inside and out.
As time went on, watching turned to helping, which turned to learning, and eventually, the family trade became Nick's career as well. After high school, Nick dove into the family business as an apprentice to his father, spending 12 years in that role, before moving to Texas, getting married, and starting a family. For another 8 years, generators were a side business for Nick, something he'd do on nights and weekends, before ultimately deciding to go full-time and start HomeSafe in 2021, aiming to become DFW's top locally owned generator and electrical service provider.
As a result of his childhood, Nick learned how to install and service generators the proper way, including paying attention to detail and, most importantly, building honest and trustworthy relationships with customers. Nick has carried those values and more into HomeSafe.
Since 2021, serving the DFW market, HomeSafe has built its reputation on three things — explaining the job in plain language, executing the job to the highest standards and maintaining the customer relationship to ensure power reliability. In 2025 we rebranded from Texxas Power to HomeSafe Generators and Electrical. The work didn't change. The name just finally matched what we do: help North Texas and DFW homeowners keep the lights on when the grid can't. Texxas Power now carries our commercial division.
